Anthony Ryland
Anthony provides contemporary insight across Talent, Leadership, Engagement and Technology. He supports our clients in identifying the right solutions for their particular needs and, most importantly, runs the business on a day-to-day basis.
After graduating from the University of Bath as a Chemical Engineer in the mid-90’s he joined Safeway as part of their graduate training scheme. He spent ten years with the food retailer developing a strong commercial and operational knowledge – and critically discovered his passion for the “people” side of the business.
This passion led to a change of direction and Anthony embarked upon a career in HR, with a focus on Talent and Learning & Development. In the past ten years he has held senior roles across multiple sectors, most notably at Samsung Electronics. His legacies include the introduction of internal and external coaching networks, launching graduate training schemes and establishing leadership development programmes delivered across Europe and Central America.
His drive comes from a belief that organisations succeed through their people reaching their capabilities, and this happens through a partnership of leaders, teams and individuals. The enablement of leaders to be able to foster a positive and healthy culture to allow you to be your best self at work underpins Anthony’s approach to helping organisations, large and small. After recently obtaining his MSc in Organisational Psychology he can bring the latest thinking and research to organisations.
He lives in Buckinghamshire in the UK with his wife Fiona and they share passions for travelling to learn and enjoy from far flung parts of the globe.
